On December 9, 2009 the AU*Capital SC held its annual College night to help the U15-U18 boys and girls players within the club get an idea of what is needed to be able to progress their playing careers to the next level.
A panel of college coaches was represented by Steve Ballard (UT-San Antonio Women), Kat Conner (Texas State Women), Nick Cowell (St Edwards Women), Corey Holton (Concordia Women), Lance Key (Trinity University Women) and Brian Young (St. Edwards Men) along with current and former players representing St. Edwards, Concordia, Akron University and Wake Forest. The club cannot thank these coaches and players enough for taking time out of their busy schedules to help educate our soccer community about the Do's and Dont's of soccer recruiting and inside tips to help make the process a more enjoyable and fruitful one for our players.
Over 90 players and parents were in attendance at the event at the 75 minute presentation. Again the AU*Capital SC thanks all those involved in putting the event together and for those players and parents that took advantage of a most informative night.
